Welcome to our latest e-newsletter, which this month includes the highlights of a busy period for our teams right across the business. Among a wide range of stories, we have news of the first installation of our SmartLoop detectors with the Plus+ system, the start of Living Lab trial sites for our FUSION adaptive traffic control system in London, Zephyr air quality sensors in Oxford and HOTA certification for our SafeZone system.
As we approach the end of an extraordinary year, we would like to thank you for your continued support during 2020 and wish you a happy and healthy break over the holiday period.

First deployment of FUSION adaptive traffic control solution.
Following the launch in September of Sitraffic FUSION, our all-new adaptive traffic control solution, the first operational deployment of the system is now live, with FUSION installed at a Living Lab trial site in London.
Selected to represent typical traffic conditions, the Living Lab will enable the system's features to be verified in a real world, real time environment, as well as providing a solid basis for the system's continuous evolution and development in advance of a wider roll-out across London.
FUSION
is a key part of London's Real Time Optimiser (RTO) system, which will provide a completely new way of managing roads across the city. With flexible, policy-driven adaption techniques, FUSION improves on the SCOOT philosophy of minimising vehicle delay and stops, by optimising signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings based on all road users' needs.

Latest evolution of SafeZone receives HOTA approval
We are delighted to have received Home Office Type Approval (HOTA) for the latest evolution of our SafeZone average speed enforcement solution. This recent certification means that evidence from this feature-rich version of SafeZone is fully admissible in court for offences under the Road Traffic Offenders Act, 1988.
With this latest SafeZone system, we have an average speed enforcement that leads the market in terms of security, image quality, capture rates and system performance. The certification covers a number of key new SafeZone features, including day/night mode functionality, which enables the camera to operate without the need for intrusive, additional lighting to be installed.
Based
on ANPR technology, SafeZone incorporates our latest Sicore II camera to provide accurate and effective speed enforcement. Manufactured in our UK factory, Sicore II uses the latest HD camera sensors designed specifically for the traffic environment. It provides unrivalled results and evidentially secure identification in all conditions, day and night at vehicle speeds of up to 300kph (186mph).
